Judd Plaisted joins the GRYD Racing Junior Team for Jerez and Magny-Cours

 In Moto 4 European Cup

Young Australian rider Judd Plaisted will join the GRYD Racing Junior Team for the upcoming rounds of the 2026 Momoven Moto 4 European Cup at Jerez and Magny-Cours.

Plaisted, who currently competes in the Idemitsu Moto4 Asia Cup, already has valuable international racing experience. Last season, he made history by becoming the first Australian rider to win back-to-back national titles in both the 160cc and 190cc categories. He then travelled to the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia to compete in the FIM MotoMini World Final, where he claimed a second-place finish in the opening race before finishing fifth in Race 2 and 12th in the Grand Final.

Plaisted heads to Jerez this week for Round 3 of the Momoven Moto 4 European Cup, where he will line up alongside teammates Qabil Irfan and Ethan Sparks. Both riders arrive in Spain on the back of strong performances at the previous round in Estoril, Portugal.

 

Judd Plaisted: This is an important challenge and a huge step towards where I want to be in this sport. I’m so proud to be doing it with the GRYD Racing Team. The goal from these races, is to keep learning and build for the future.
